How To Apply Passport For Baby in Malaysia
I did my baby's passport this morning around 11.20am and got it ready within 45 minutes time at UTC Sentul. It's fast and easy!
Baby or infant below the age of 2 will be able to get the express number.
Things to bring to apply for a passport for your baby:
1. Original birth certificate of baby
2. A photocopy of baby's birth certificate (1 copy)
3. Mother or father original IC
4. Mother or father photocopy IC (1 copy)
Photocopy can also be done at their centre at RM0.20 per copy.
- No forms to fill in. The officer filled in the form for me.
- Photograph(s) to be taken on the spot of application. (Kindly ensure baby is wearing in a darker shade clothing)
Payment of RM100 to be made for passport application for a five-year period of validity.
Passport to be ready within 45 minutes to 1 hour's time after application.
